Monday’s Writing Prompt

A word prompt to get you writing. You might choose to write a piece of flash fiction or a poem – how you use the prompt is entirely up to you. 

If you would like to share your finished piece of writing then you can either post it in the comments or leave a link to it.

The challenge is simple. Every Monday you will be given a word that must be included in your story or poem. And your piece must stick to the given word count – no more, no less.

Whatever you come up with have fun!

At the end of each week I will be posting a picture prompt and inviting you to write a 100-word story. Here is today’s picture:

Can you write a short story using this picture as your inspiration? Remember it needs to be exactly 100-words long (not including any title you might want to use).
