‘Summer’ – A 33 Word Poem For Trifextra Seventy-Two

The challenge from Trifecta this weekend is to describe Summer in just 33 words. Here goes:

british-summerSummer

time for that
well-earned rest,
a week away
on a beach,
with the kids,
in the pouring rain,
stuck in that
leaking caravan ….
and to make
things worse –
it’s only day one!
