Three Haiku

Three Haiku for ‘Haiku Heights’ – this week’s prompt – ‘Sponge’

took her for granted,
sponged off her all his life –
he was still her son

~~~~
white billowing clouds
dabbed with sponges on a blue sky –
warm November day
~~~

like a dry sponge she
sucks up his last drop of love –
it’s time to move on
