Two Poems For Haiku Wednesday – Flare and Flair

It’s a week since I wrote any Haiku. These two are written for ‘Haiku Wednesday’ where the theme is ‘Flare/Flair’

Autumn leaves tumble
with overly dramatic flair –
Mother Nature’s circus

~~

massive solar flares
sun’s fiery surface erupting –
she is not happy

      1. I know from where you cometh. All those hours spent in class and little if nothing is retained. When I travel to Quebec am initially struck with panic. What if little or nothing comes to the surface at the point of ordering food. Glace et Oeufs -ice and eggs, are just not that appetizing. Luckily fromage is always available -am a sucker for Quebec’s Dairy farmers cheese curd. Sorry, I got off topic.
