Haiku Heights – ‘Yearn’

Day 9 of the September challenge – write a haiku a day throughout September – over at Haiku Heights. Today’s prompt – ‘Yearn’

I yearn for your touch
loving arms wrapped round me –
where are you mummy

I pick up my phone
heart yearning to hear your voice –
number not recognised

Now that I'm retired I have more time to devote to writing my blog and creating short stories.
