September Challenge – Hypnotic Haiku

Day 7 of the Haiku Heights September Challenge – today’s prompt -‘Hypnotic’

gleaming yellow faces
hypnotically drawn towards the sun
tall, leggy sunflowers

——-

hypnotic water
drip, drip, drip on my forehead
torturous confession

——-

the trance is broken
when winter snaps her fingers
summer drifts away

  1. Time for sunflowers to get hypnotized while they are hypnotizing us on mine!! 🙂
Goodbye Summer and Hello Winter, but we are still in the grip of tantalizing Autumn!!
